A Walk Between Worlds

I began A Walk Between Worlds several years ago, and it was one of those stories that got pushed to the backburner while I focussed on other works. It was recently released from its contract at Amira Press and has now become available again through http://www.purplesword.com/.

The hero, Kolar Darkwing, came to me, like so many of my characters, in a bad dream. He was a horrible creature, raised by evil, assigned the job to assassinate and abduct those his king despised, but the angelic side of him still held hope. That hope was awakened by Minai, the doomed sister of Treila, the heroine of the story.

Unbeknownst to Kolar, Treila plants a seed of conscience and light in his soul before she meets her end. In so doing, she begins the change in his life that will lead him to an unweildy redemption and something he never thought possible: love.

In the traditional spirit of my writing, A Walk Between Worlds is a story of redemption through love. It is another story that touches on the themed Darkwood Forest works of which I hope to write many more of in the future. Inspired by a dream (or a nightmare rather) this story is sure to touch your heart and heat up the sheets for bedtime reading.
